Sunsets

My friends often associate me with sunsets. Sometimes I go to dinner with a camera in case I can capture a good photo. Other times, I chase sunsets. There's just something about them that are so beautiful to me ^_^

This is actually one of the first sunset photos I've ever taken. I remember being in the back seat of the car and asking my father to stop on the side of the road because I just had to take a photo. I remember being struck with awe.


For a moment, I felt a little sad because I hadn't noticed the beauty of the sky in the past, so I must have missed a bunch of cool sunsets. But then I realized that there are so many more to capture. That's part of the reason why I love sunsets so much now!




I also love sunsets because when I'm taking photos I also notice other people holding up their phones or DSLRs to the sky. I often don't know them and they don't know me, but we have a brief, silent connection as we stare at the sky together in wonder.
