[2014] Italy, Monte Carlo, Nice
[June 28th - July 1st 2014]
I'm excited to talk about Italy! It was amazing, and as with every place I've gone to, I regret not taking more photos.
The first place we went to was Venice.
Gondola ride. The people in striped shirts steered the boatand took us around. They stood the whole time - must've taken awhile to learn how to balance perfectly! I remember them using their feet to push off of walls to take us to a new direction.
After spending the morning and afternoon there, we headed back. The next day, we visited Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance!
I learned about the Colosseum in World History but I never thought I'd actually lay eyes on it. I was amazed when I saw it, and so was everyone around me.
Whether you're religious or not, the Vatican is a must-see place.
Everything was beautiful. The architecture was phenomenal.
St. Paul's Basilica! To my understanding, this is the biggest or most important church for Catholics.
A trip to Italy wouldn't be complete without seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
There are stairs to go up and they aren't hard to climb.
The view from the top of the tower was beautiful!
Monte Carlo!
We stopped at Nice to see a beach and go to our hotel.
Thanks for checking out this post ^_^ Have a wonderful day/night!
